Population problems are caused by poverty, illiteracy, anger, failure in agriculture, lack of food, lack of living space, etc. Food production cannot keep pace with population growth. So there is an acute food crisis in the country. That is why our standard of living is very low. If the population is allowed to grow in this way, the whole nation will suffer the consequences.
জনসংখ্যা সমস্যা দারিদ্র্য, নিরক্ষরতা, রােগব্যাধী, কৃষিতে ব্যর্থতা, খাদ্যের অভাব, বসবাসের জায়গার ঘাটতি ইত্যাদির মতাে অন্যান্য, সমস্যাগুলাে সৃষ্টি করে। জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধির সাথে খাদ্য উৎপাদন তাল মিলাতে পারেনা। তাই দেশে তীব্র খাদ্য সংকট বিরাজ করে। এইজন্য আমাদের জীবনমান খুবই নিম্ন। যদি এইভাবে জনসংখ্যা বাড়তে দেওয়া হয় তবে পুরাে জাতি এর মারাত্মক ফলাফল ভােগ করবে।
We should take effective steps to solve this problem. We must get rid of the curse of overpopulation. There are only three ways to solve the problem. One is to effectively reduce the birth rate, the other is to produce more food and the third is to create more employment opportunities. In addition to these, child marriage should be banned. The two-party policy must be spread across the country. A massive campaign is needed about the bad consequences of high birth rates. Our present government is trying its best to curb the birth rate. For this purpose family planning facilities have been introduced in all hospitals and upazila health complexes. The media is also playing a good role. They are campaigning extensively for the results of the overpopulation.
এই সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য আমাদের কার্যকরি পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া উচিত। আমাদেরকে অবশ্যই অতিরিক্ত জনসংখ্যার অভিশাপ থেকে মুক্তি পেতে হবে। সমস্যাটি সমাধানের জন্য শুধু তিনটি উপায় রয়েছে। একটি হচ্ছে কার্যকরীভাবে জন্মহার রােধ করা, অন্যটি হচ্ছে অধিকহারে খাদ্য উৎপাদন করা এবং তৃতীয়টি হচ্ছে অধিক কর্মসংস্থানের সুযােগ সৃষ্টি করা। এগুলাের পাশাপাশি বাল্যবিবাহ নিষিদ্ধ হওয়া উচিত। দুই সভান নীতি দেশের সর্বত্র অবশ্যই ছড়িয়ে দিতে হবে। উচ্চ জন্মহারের খারাপ ফলাফল সম্পর্কে একটা ব্যাপক প্রচারণা দরকার। আমাদের বর্তমান সরকার জন্মহার রােধ করতে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করছে। এই উদ্দেশ্যে পরিবার পরিকল্পনা সুবিধাকে সব হাসপাতাল এবং উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সে চালু করা হয়েছে। মিডিয়াও একটা ভালাে ভূমিকা পালন করছে। অতিরিক্ত জনসংখ্যার ফলাফল নিয়ে তারা ব্যপক প্রচারণা চালাচ্ছে।
In our opinion, in a developing country, overpopulation is a big odyssey and a serious problem. This problem will be solved if the people and the government use the resources of the country and do other things sincerely. So to build a happy and prosperous country, we all have to take a solemn oath to solve the problem.
