My life goals are simple but different from my other friends. From my childhood I wanted to be an honest police officer. There are many reasons behind my dreams and goals. Technologically the world is advancing and at the same time crime and dishonesty are on the rise. We cannot expect a good and peaceful society without eradicating crime from the society. Besides, there is a misconception among the general public that the police are generally dishonest and corrupt. They are not the people. I have to prepare myself well to get rid of their misconceptions.

I am now a ninth grader. After passing the SSC exam, I will be admitted to a college. After passing HSC, I will be admitted to Dhaka University to complete undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the Department of Briminology (Criminology). Then I will take the BCS exam. I will select the police cadre as the first choice.

If I pass the BCS exam, I will be appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in a district of Bangladesh. From there I will be promoted to Superintendent of Police (SP). Then I will be able to work for the welfare of the common people. I will enforce the law in my area very strictly and carefully. I will try to eradicate sin from society. I will try to remove from the society especially the crimes related to ICT. That way I would work as a police officer.

From the above discussion it is clear how and why I planned to become a police officer. My view is that a good police officer can provide us with a peaceful and crime-free society. If I can do all these things then my career and life will be successful.
