My Favorite Pastime.
Answer : Pastime is an activity that someone does regularly for enjoyment rather than work. In other words, pastime means one's activities in one's leisure. I spend my leisure by doing gardening Gardening is my favorite pastime. I have a beautiful garden. It is situated in front of my reading room. In the evening, I spend some time in the garden and loose the soil, weed the grass and water the plants. I have put up fences around it so that no animals can do harm the garden. My garden has two parts. One part is for flowers and the other is for vegetables. There are rose, sunflower, China-rose, marigold and other charming and fragrant flowers. On the vegetables part, I grow tomatoes, pumpkins, carrots and other vegetables. The garden plays a great role on my mind. When I am in despair and tiredness, I spend some time in my garden. It makes me fresh. Besides this, it supplies our family with some daily necessaries and saves our money. The garden is a great source of pleasure and refreshment.
আমার প্রিয় অবসর বিনােদন।
বঙ্গানুবাদ : অবসর বিনােদন এমন একটি কার্য যা কেউ কাজের চেয়ে আনন্দের জন্যই নিয়মিতভাবে করে থাকে। অন্য কথায় অবসর বিনোদন হলাে কারাে অবসর সময়ের কর্মকান্ড। আমি বাগান করে আমার অবসর কাটাই। বাগান করা আমার প্রিয় অবসর বিনােদন। আমার সুন্দর একটি বাগান রয়েছে। এটি আমার পড়ার ঘরের সামনে অবস্থিত। বিকালে আমি কিছু সময় বাগানে কাটাই এবং মাটি ঝুরঝুরে করি, আগাছা পরিষার করি এবং গাছের চারায় পানি দেই। আমি এর চারপাশে বেড়া দিয়েছি যাতে কোন জীবজন্তু বাগানের ক্ষতি করতে না পারে। আমার বাগানের দুইটি অংশ রয়েছে। এক অংশ ফুলের জন্য এবং অন্য অংশ শাকসবজির জন্য। গোলাপ, সূর্যমুখী, জবা, গাদাফুল এবং আরাে অন্যান্য মনােমুধকারী ও সুগন্ধি ফুল রয়েছে। শাকসবজি অংশে আমি টমেটো, মিষ্টি কুমড়াে, গাজর ও অন্যান্য সবজী ফলাই। বাগানটি আমার মনের উপর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। যখন আমি ক্লান্ত ও বিষন্ন থাকি, আমি কিছু সময় আমার বাগানে কাটাই। এটি আমাকে সতেজ করে তােলে। এছাড়া, এটি আমাদের পরিবারে কিছু নিত্য প্রয়ােজনীয় জিনিসও যােগান দেয় যা আমাদের অর্থ সাশ্রয় করে। বাগানটি আনন্দ ও সতেজতার এক পরম উৎস।
