Answer : Mobile phone is one of the amazing inventions of science. It is a small cellular phone that can be easily carried with us. It has brought about a revolutionary change in communication system. Before its invention, communication and messaging system was very hard. But mobile phone has lessened the distance of the world. It is a wireless device by which we can communicate and talk to others immediately. It is effective and an interesting instrument for rapid communication. So one can easily send a message to anyone and can be introduced to internet technology. It is comparatively cheap in our country. Today it has turned into an inevitable need. With the introduction of smart phone and android operating system, mobile phone has become more important than earlier time. We can use social media and different utility application with the help of smartphone. We can talk to the farthest corner of the world through internet and video calling option is also available there. However, with all its merit, a mobile phone has some demerits too. It is injurious to our health. It can harm our brain when we talk through it. Again the excessive use of mobile phone often causes fatal diseases like brain tumor, cancer etc. Some criminals use it for committing crimes. The harmful use of mobile phone are also misleading our teenagers. Parents should consider the age of their children before buying them mobile phones. So, we should make the best use of it and avoid the bad use.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : মােবাইল ফোন হলাে বিজ্ঞানের বিস্ময়কর আবিষ্কারসমূহের মধ্যে অন্যতম। এটি একটি ছোট সেলুলার ফোন যা আমরা খুব সহজেই বহন করতে পারি। এটি যােগাযােগ ব্যবস্থায় এক বৈপ্লবিক পরিবর্তন নিয়ে এসেছে। এটি আবিষ্কারের পূর্বে যোগাযোগ এবং সংবাদ আদান প্রদান ব্যবস্থা খুব জটিল ছিল। কিন্তু মােবাইল ফোন বিশ্বের দূরত্ব কমিয়ে দিয়েছে। এটি একটি তারবিহীন যন্ত্র যার মাধ্যমে আমরা দ্রুত একে অপরের সাথে যােগাযােগ এবং কথা বলতে পারি। এটি দ্রুত যোগাযােগের জন্য একটি কার্যকরী এবং চমৎকার মাধ্যম। তাই যে কেউ যে কারাে নিকট সহজেই বার্তা প্রেরণ করতে পারে এবং ইন্টারনেট প্রযুক্তির সাথে পরিচিত হতে পারে। এটি আমাদের দেশে তুলনামূলকভাবে সম্তা। আজ এটি এক অপরিহার্য সামগ্রীতে পরিণত হয়েছে। স্মার্ট ফোন এবং এন্ড্রয়েড অপারেটিং সিস্টেম আবিষ্কারের সাথে সাথে মােবাইল ফোন পূর্বের চেয়ে অধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠেছে। স্মার্টফোনের সহায়তায় আমরা সামাজিক মাধ্যম এবং বিভিন্ন ইউটিলিটি অ্যাপ্লিকেশন ব্যবহার করতে পারি। ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে বিশ্বের দূরবর্তী প্রান্তে কথা বলতে পারি এবং সেখানে ভিডিও কল করার সুযােগও রয়েছে। যাহােক, এ সকল সুবিধার পাশাপাশি এর কিছু অসুবিধাও রয়েছে। এটি আমাদের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য ক্ষতিকর। মােবাইল ফোনে কথা বলার দরণ এটি আমাদের মস্তিষ্কের ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারে। আবার, অত্যধিক মােবাইল ফোনের ব্যবহার মারাত্মক ব্যাধি যেমন- ব্রেইন টিউমার, ক্যান্সার ইত্যাদির কারণ। কিছু অপরাধী এটি অপরাধমূলক কাজের জন্য ব্যবহার করে থাকে। মােবাইল ফোনের অপব্যবহার আমাদের কিশােরদের বিপথে পরিচালিত করছে। পিতামাতার উচিত তাদের সন্তানদের মােবাইল ফোন কিনে দেওয়ার পূর্বে তাদের বয়স বিবেচনা করা। তাই, আমাদের উচিত এর সর্বোত্তম ব্যবহার করা এবং অপব্যবহার এড়িয়ে যাওয়া।
