Your Favourite Teacher.
Answer : A teacher is a person whose job is teaching especially in a school, college or university. He is regarded as the builder of a nation. I have come in close touch with many teachers. Almost all of them are quite good and successful teachers. But Mr. Khan, our English teacher has fascinated me with his wonderful performance and delivery. He is tall, handsome and always well dressed with a powerful glass that makes him look like a real intellectual. He is a good orator with an excellent pronunciation. He speaks as if he were a native English speaker. His art of delivering lectures is dramatic and uncommon. In fact, it hypnotizes us with a pin drop silence in the classroom. He is wise and has an extra-ordinary command over his subject. He has a wonderful power of making any topic interesting with a sweet smile. He never rebukes or insults any student for failing to answer his questions. Rather, he always helps and inspires him so that he does not become nervous. He is also very jolly, cheerful and friendly with us. He is very strict but not cruel in matter of discipline. Sometimes he makes the whole class lively with humour and joke. But he is very sincere when he teaches us something important. Indeed, he is a very knowledgeable person with an excellent command over his subject. Hence he never feels annoyed or irritated when we ask him complicated questions. In fine, he has a wonderful personality deserving our love and respect.
আমার প্রিয় শিক্ষক।
বঙ্গানুবাদ : শিক্ষক হলেন সেই ব্যক্তি যার কাজ হলাে স্কুল, কলেজ বা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পাঠদান করা। তাকে জাতির নির্মাতা বলে বিবেচনা করা হয়। আমি বহু শিক্ষকের নিবিড় সাহচর্যে এসেছি। তাদের প্রায় সকলেই ভালাে এবং সফল শিক্ষক। কিন্তু আমাদের ইংরেজি শিক্ষক খান সাহেব তার চমৎকার কর্মদক্ষতা ও বক্তব্য দ্বারা আমাকে মুগ্ধ করেছেন। তিনি দীর্ঘদেহী, সুদর্শন এবং সর্বদা একটা ভারী চশমা পরে পােশাকে আশাকে পরিপাটি থাকেন যাতে তাঁকে প্রকৃতই একজন বুদ্ধিজীবীর মত দেখায়। তিনি বলিষ্ঠ উচ্চারণ সমৃদ্ধ একজন সুবক্তা। তিনি এমনভাবে কথা বলেন যেন তিনি ইংরেজি ভাষাভাষি। তার বক্তৃতাদানের কলাকৌশল নাটকীয় এবং অসাধারণ। প্রকৃতপক্ষে তা আমাদেরকে শ্রেণীকক্ষে পিনপতন নীরবতায় সম্মােহিত করে রাখে। তিনি বিজ্ঞ এবং তার বিষয়ে রয়েছে অসাধারণ দখল। তার রয়েছে যে কোনাে বিষয়কে হাসিমুখে হৃদয়গ্রাহী করে তােলার চমৎকার একটা ক্ষমতা। তিনি কখনো কোন ছাত্রছাত্রীকে প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে ব্যর্থ হওয়ার কারণে অপমানিত বা লাঞ্চিত করেন না। বরং তিনি তাকে সবসময় সাহায্য করেন ও উৎসাহ দেন যেন সে উৎকষ্ঠিত না হয়ে পড়ে। তিনি আমাদের সাথে বেশ আমুদে, হাসিখুশী ও বন্ধুসুলভ। শৃঙ্খলার ব্যাপারে তিনি বেশ কঠোর কিন্তু নিষ্ঠুর নন। মাঝে মাঝে তিনি হাসি-ঠাট্টা ও কৌতুক দিয়ে পুরাে ক্লাসকে প্রাণবন্ত করে তােলেন। কিন্তু যখন তিনি আমাদেরকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু পড়ান তখন তিনি ভীষণ আন্তরিক থাকেন। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, তিনি তার বিষয়ে চমতকার দক্ষতা সমৃদ্ধ একজন ভীষণ জ্ঞানী লাক। তাই যখন আমরা তাকে জটিল প্রশ্ন করি, তিনি কখনাে বিরক্ত অথবা ক্লুদ্ধ হন না মােট কথা আমাদের ভালােবাসা ও শ্রদ্ধা পাওয়ার মতাে চমৎকার ব্যক্তিত্ব তার রয়েছে।
