Importance of Education.
Answer : Education is an essential human virtue. Man becomes 'man' in the real sense through education. He is what education makes him. It is a must for both men and women equally as they together make a healthy and educated society. It develops our mind and makes us worthy citizens. It also helps us distinguish between right and wrong. It makes us aware of our rights and responsibilities. Education removes the darkness of ignorance and superstitions. The light of education creates a sense of rationality. It refines our sensibility and broadens our outlook. Education makes a person able to cope with the changing world. It gives us a clear conscious view and ability to judge. It helps us express our thoughtful opinions straight. It makes us courageous, sincere and polite in nature. It also drives away misunderstanding among people. It is the precondition of mutual understanding among them. It teaches us to love and respect others. It also teaches us how 'to be loved and how to be respectful. Thus, it promotes understanding among people. Education certainly helps us become a better human being. So, we must try our best to be truly educated.
শিক্ষার গুরুত্ব।
বঙ্গানুবাদ : শিক্ষা একটি অত্যাবশ্যক মানবিক গুণ। শিক্ষার মাধ্যমে মানুষ সত্যিকার অর্থেই 'মানুষ' হয়ে উঠে। শিক্ষা তাকে যেভাবে গড়ে তােলে সে তাই। এটি নারী-পুরুষ উভয়ের জন্যই সমানভাবে আবশ্যক যেহেতু তারা একত্রে একটি সুস্থ ও শিক্ষিত সমাজ গঠন করে। এটি আমাদের মনকে উন্নত করে এবং আমাদেরকে যোগ্য নাগরিক হিসেবে গড়ে তােলে। এটি আমাদেরকে সত্য ও মিথ্যার মধ্যে পার্থক্য করতেও শেখায়। এটি আমাদেরকে আমাদের অধিকার ও দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন করে তােলে। শিক্ষা অজ্ঞতার অন্ধকার ও কুসংস্কার দূর করে। শিক্ষার আলাে একটি যুক্তিবাধ সৃষ্টি করে। এটি আমাদের চেতনাকে পরিশোধন করে ও দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিকে প্রসারিত করে। শিক্ষা একজন মানুষকে পরিবর্তিত বিশ্বের সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে চলতে সক্ষম করে তােলে। এটি আমাদেরকে একটি সচেতন ও স্বচ্ছ ধারণা এবং বিচার/বিবেচনা করার সক্ষমতা দেয়। এটি আমাদেরকে স্পরষ্টভাবে আমাদের চিন্তাশীল ভাবনা প্রকাশে সহায়তা করে। এটি আমাদেরকে স্বভাবে সাহসী, আন্তরিক ও ভদ্র করে তােলে। এটি মানুষের মধ্যে ভুল বুঝাবুঝি দূর করে। এটি তাদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক বােঝাপড়ার পূর্বশর্ত। এটি আমাদেরকে অন্যদের সম্মান করতে ও ভালােবাসতে শেখায়। এটি আমাদেরকে কীভাবে ভালােবাসা ও শ্রদ্ধা পেতে হয় তাও শেখায়। এভাবে এটি মানুষের মধ্যে বোঝাপড়াকে উন্নত করে। শিক্ষা নিশ্চিতভাবেই আমাদেরকে উত্তম মানুষ হতে সাহায্য করে। তাই আমাদেরকে অবশ্যই প্রকৃত শিক্ষিত হতে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করতে হবে।
