One day when he was going to school through the rail track a mail train was coming towards him. But the rail-track was cut off in front of him. He was at a loss. He knew that the next train would be coming soon. He thought that there might be a dangerous accident. He thought that many people would die if he didn't do anything soon. Suddenly, he got an idea that he would put off his red-shirt and move it in the air so that the driver could see it from a safe distance. Then the driver of the train would stop the train and it would not face any accident. So he shook his red shirt and the driver could understand that it must be a sign of any danger. So he stopped the train. Then the driver and some passengers got down and talked to him. He showed them the crack in the line. Then the driver and other passengers praised him highly and blessed him saying that one day he would be a great man. A little boy's wise plan saved hundred passengers.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : একদা চাঁদপুর জেলায় একটি ছােট ছেলে বাস করত। সে অনেক গরীব ছিল এবং গ্রামের একটি বিদ্যালয়ে চতুর্থ শ্রেণিতে পড়ত। একদিন সে রেললাইনের পাশ দিয়ে হেঁটে বিদ্যালয়ে যাচ্ছিল। এমন সময় একটি যাত্রীবাহী ট্রেন তার দিকে আসছিল। কিন্তু তার সামনের রেললাইন বিচ্ছিন্ন অবস্থায় ছিল। সে কিংকর্তব্যবিমূঢ় হয়ে গেল। সে জানত পরবর্তী ট্রেনটি দ্রুত চলে আসবে। সে ভাবল খুব বিপজ্জনক একটি দুর্ঘটনা ঘটবে। সে ভাবল সে যদি কিছু না করতে পারে তাহলে অনেক লােক মারা যাবে। হঠাৎ তার মাথায় বুদ্ধি এলাে যে সে তার লাল জামা খুলে বাতাসে নাড়বে যাতে চালক যথেষ্ট দূর থেকেও তা দেখতে পারে। তাহলে ট্রেন চালক ট্রিন থামাবে এবং এটি কোনাে দুর্ঘটনার সম্মুখীন হবেনা। কাজেই সে তার লাল শার্ট নাড়াতে লাগল এবং চালকটি বুঝতে পারল যে নিশ্চয়ই কোন বিপদ হয়েছে। তাই সে ট্রেনটিকে থামাল। তারপর চালকটি এবং কিছু যাত্রী নেমে তার সাথে কথা বলল। সে তাদের লাইনের ভাঙা অংশটি দেখাল। তারপর চালক এবং যাত্রীরা তার অনেক প্রশংসা করল এবং তাকে এই বলে আশীর্বাদ করল যে সে একদিন অনেক বড় হবে। একজন ছােট্ট ছেলের সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত শতশত যাত্রীর প্রাণ বাঁচাল।
