Answer : Once upon a time there lived a boy named Bayezid who was very obedient to his mother. One night he was reading beside his ailing mother. In midnight, his mother woke up. He asked for some drinking water. Bayezid went to the kitchen to bring water for his mother. But Bayezid found the jar empty. There was a spring close to their house. He went to the nearby spring very quickly. Then he collected a fresh jar of drinking water. After that he returned home with the jar. He poured a glass of water. But when he went beside his mother, he found her sleeping. So he did not disturb her. Rather he passed the whole night standing beside her because she might ask for water any time. But when his mother woke up in the morning, she found Bayezid standing the whole night. She remembered the event of the previous night. She became astonished and emotional. She embraced her son with Hee deep love. As a result she prayed to Allah for the betterment of his son. Later Bayezid became a great "wali" (saint) in his life as a result of his mother's prayer.

বানুবাদ : একদা বায়েজিদ নামের এক বালক ছিল যে তার মায়ের প্রতি অনুগত ছিল। একরাতে সে তার অসুস্থ মায়ের পাশে পড়ছিল। মধ্যরাতে তার মা জেগে উঠল। তিনি একটু পানি পান করতে চাইলেন। বায়েজিদ তার মায়ের জন্য পানি আনতে রান্না ঘরে গেল। কিন্তু বায়েজিদ কলসটি খালি দেখতে পেল। তাদের বাড়ির পাশেই একটা ঝরণা ছিল। সে দ্রুত পাশের ঝর্ণার কাছে গেল। অতঃপর সে এক কলস টাটকা পানি সগ্রহ করল। এরপর সে কলসটি নিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরল। সে এক গ্লাস পানি নিল। কিন্তু যখন সে তার মায়ের কাছে গেল, সে তাকে ঘুমন্ত অবস্থায় পেল। তাই সে তাকে বিরক্ত করলনা। বরং সে সারারাত তাঁর পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে কাটালাে কারণ তিনি যে কোনা সময় পানি চাইতে পারেন। কিন্তু তার মা সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে দেখলেন বায়েজিদ সারারাত দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন। তাঁর গতরাতের ঘটনা মনে পড়ল। তিনি বিস্মিত এবং আবেগ আপুত হয়ে পড়লেন। তিনি গভীর ভালােবাসায় তার সম্ভানকে জড়িয়ে ধরলেন। ফলশ্নুতিতে তিনি তাঁর সভানের মঙ্গলের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে দোয়া করলেন। পরবর্তীতে বায়েজিদ তাঁর মায়ের প্রার্থনার কল্যাণে অনেক বড় একজন সাধু পুরুষ (ওলি) হয়েছিলেন।
